Zimtor welcomes volunteers in a variety of positions. In our present development phase, volunteers are needed to participate in monthly planning meetings, to help set up the classroom, and to provide support services such as accounting and legal work. All volunteer positions are advisory only; final decisions are made by the director and the board.
If you would like to volunteer at Zimtor, please complete this form or contact Zimtor directly.

Carl Rogers in 1952. Rogers was a clinical psychologist who developed client-centered therapy in the 1930s. In client-centered therapy, the patient, or client, is responsible for directing the course of therapy; the therapist's role is simply to provide unconditional support. Progressive education often makes use of the ideas in client-centered therapy to create what is sometimes termed child-centered education. Rogers himself wrote a book on this topic entitled Freedom to Learn.
